SANATOGA PA – A local man was taken into custody Sunday morning (Dec. 27, 2015) shortly after midnight, during what began as a traffic stop, when Lower Pottsgrove police discovered an active warrant for his arrest had been issued earlier by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Arrested on the warrant was Patrick Sean Adams, whose residence was listed by police as the 200 block of South Park Road.
Township Ofc. Scott Burnick reported he conducted a traffic stop involving a Ford Econoline van at 12:39 a.m. at the intersection of Mervine Street and Terrace Lane, and later identified its driver as Adams. The sheriff’s warrant was found, and Adams was held. Burnick also reported a needle was located in a pocket of Adams’ pants, and other drug paraphernalia was located in the vehicle.
Adams was transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility at Eagleville PA. In addition to the warrant, he will face charges for drug paraphernalia and other traffic offenses, police said.
