CAN YOU HELP FIND THESE LOCAL DOGS? – Lower Pottsgrove police issued a BOLO (Be On The LookOut) alert Tuesday evening (Dec. 29, 2015) for two golden retrievers reported missing from a residence at 1448 Bahr Rd. They answer to the names of “Buddy” and “Sammy,” police said in a Facebook page status update, and are brothers that weigh about 110 pounds. One of them reportedly was struck by a vehicle before running off, and may be injured, according to the department. Buddy is said to be very friendly; Sammy, shy. Police requested members of the public contact them if either of the dogs are spotted, and the department in turn will notify the township’s animal control officer. The Facebook post garnered plenty of reader attention; as of Wednesday at 5 a.m., it had been shared more than 340 times in just 10 hours.
