Pottsgrove Honors Advanced Placement Study

POTTSGROVE HONORS AP GRADUATES – Stowe resident and Pottsgrove High School 2015 graduate Samantha Goins, right, was among students honored Tuesday night (Jan. 12, 2015) by the Pottsgrove School District and its Board of School Directors for their accomplishments in the College Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) series of studies. AP courses successfully completed by Pottsgrove students during their high school years gave many an advantage as they entered college, in some cases earning credit that allowed them to skip over some otherwise required post-secondary classes. The awards were presented as a preface to high school Principal Dr. Bill Ziegler’s request for approval of new AP courses to tentatively be offered next year. District Superintendent Shellie Feola, left, greeted the certificate winners.
