SANATOGA PA – An 18-year-old Pottstown man, who Lower Pottsgrove police allegedly found arguing with a woman while outside at the height of winter storm Jonas, has been cited for public intoxication.

Kyle Glenn Watkins, identified as a borough resident, was seen Saturday (Jan. 23, 2016) at around midnight walking west in the eastbound lane of East High Street near First Street, according to a police department press release. He appeared to be “yelling” across the street at a female driver in a car that was pacing his stride as it also moved west in the westbound lane, Ofc. Matthew Musselman reported.

Musselman stopped both and said he learned the two, who knew each other, were involved in a “verbal disturbance.” The woman was not identified.

The officer said Watkins “had glassy eyes and the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person. Watkins submitted to a portable breath test, and after being cited was released to a sober party at the scene, Musselman added.
