TAKING HIS LATEST OATH – Former Limerick Township Police Lt. Brian Skelton took his oath of office Tuesday (Feb. 16, 2016) as the township’s new chief of police, during a formal swearing-in ceremony held as part of the Board of Supervisors meeting in the West Ridge Pike municipal building. Skelton succeeds now Chief-Emeritus William Albany, who will officially retire in December. Together Skelton and Albany will see the department though the year-long transition. A variety of Facebook photographers captured the ceremony’s best moments, including the administration of the oath, and Skelton being joined by board members and officers on the force.
