Old Township Sign Gets New Location

A SIGN OF THE TIMES – The township sign that once greeted travelers to Lower Pottsgrove, when it was positioned in front of traffic moving out to Industrial Highway from the former U.S. Route 422 interchange there, served no purpose when that exit closed months ago and a new one opened less than an eighth of a mile away. The sign is back in action again, however. It recently was relocated from the township’s southern gateway, near Armand Hammer Boulevard, to its eastern one on vacant land just west of the Turkey Hill convenience store on East High Street. That’s close to the U.S. Route 422 Sanatoga interchange, where township officials think far more people are bound to see it.
