POTTSTOWN PA – A Pottsgrove Board of School Directors‘ executive session that reportedly covered negotiations with the district’s “non-professional labor” staff was to be held Tuesday night (Feb. 23, 2016) following its regular workshop session, board President Rick Rabinowitz announced in advance.
As the meeting ended, directors and key administrators stayed behind in the conference room at the district office on Kauffman Road while the public and others filed out. Rabinowitz did not specify the issue(s) being negotiated.
Board discussions of some legal and personnel matters are allowed by state law in closed-door meetings, not attended by the public, under certain circumstances. Official action on any topic must be made only in public meetings.
