THE WHISTLE BLOWS, THE FALCON FLIES – This year’s annual Sapsucker Festival, held Saturday (March 5, 2016) at Mill Grove in Audubon PA, was intended to focus on the running of sap from the historic Montgomery County park’s many maple trees, and the production of maple syrup. Because Mill Grove was the home of famous bird and wildlife artist John James Audubon, the festival also included several nature programs. One of them, a show-stealer during the day that attracted large crowds, was a falconry demonstration. Listen for the whistle tweets, and see why kids and adults alike were enthralled.
