Pottsgrove Seniors Honored By School Board

HONORED FOR THEIR SCHOLARSHIP – Pottsgrove High School seniors Elizabeth Driehaus, at center with her family above, and Eric Maynard, at center with his family below, were each joined last Tuesday (March 8, 2016) by Pottsgrove School District Superintendent Shellie Feola (far left) and Board of School Directors’ President Rick Rabinowitz (far right) as the school board acknowledged the students’ scholarly achievements on a national scale. Driehaus was one of only 8,000 students nationwide to be selected as a National Merit Scholarship finalist, high school Principal Dr. Bill Ziegler said. Maynard was one of only 33,000 students across the country to receive a National Merit Scholarship Program letter of commendation for his high PSAT test scores as a junior.
