Police Investigate One, Nab 4 At Days Inn

SANATOGA PA – When they arrived Monday morning (March 14, 2016) around 11 a.m. at the Days Inn on Industrial Highway in Lower Pottsgrove, township police were responding to a complaint about a single person. As an investigation got under way, however, one thing led to another, and another, and another. By the time they were done, police said, four suspects were in custody.

Charged separately on a variety of offenses were Nathaniel Watson, 28, of the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue in Pottstown; Jack Cajuste, 24, of the 400 block of North Charlotte Street, Pottstown; Melissa Kinsey, 22, of the 1000 block of Valley Court in Pennsburg; and Eden Miller, 30, of the 600 block of Gravel Pike in East Greenville.

Police had come to the inn because of Watson, Ofc. Kevin Black explained in a department press release. He was allegedly “staying in a room in the hotel without paying for it, and without being allowed to be in the room,” Black reported. Watson was arrested for trespassing.

“During the course of their investigation” of Watson, Black said, “police were led” to the inn’s Room 330, where they said they found Cajuste, Miller and Kinsey. The reason for their movement to the room was not disclosed.

Once there, they learned Cajuste was wanted by the Pottstown Police Department on an outstanding warrant for sexual assault. He was taken into custody, and later turned over to borough officers.

They also discovered Kinsey was wanted by Pennsylvania State Police out of the Skippack barracks on an outstanding warrant for larceny and theft charges. She, too, was taken into custody, and later turned over to troopers.

Miller was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal narcotics, Black alleged. She was taken into custody; charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana; and transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Eagleville PA for processing and housing.

Then, Black reported, “the room was turned back over to the hotel.”
