These May Be Real Lifesavers In The Winter

HYDRANT MARKERS NOW BEING INSTALLED – Fire hydrant antennas recently obtained by Lower Pottsgrove Fire Marshal Lew Babel and others through local donations are now being installed by volunteers from the Sanatoga and Ringing Hill fire companies. The sturdy, weather-resistant, whip-like poles will help firefighters locate hydrants in even deep snow when an emergency strikes. The Sanatoga company took photos last week as its crew placed the markers on hydrants in Lower Pottsgrove’s Maple Ridge residential community.
