Sanatoga Welcomes New Fire Police Members

SWORN TO SERVE FOR SAFETY – The four newest members of the Sanatoga Fire Company‘s Fire Police unit have taken their oaths of duty, as administered by Magisterial District Justice Edward C. Kropp Sr. (at center). The company considers its fire police “an essential part of our emergency operations, providing traffic control services and ensuring scene safety while freeing up police officers to handle other tasks,” it said on its Facebook page. All four were confirmed by the Lower Pottsgrove Board of Commissioners, following background checks conducted by the township police department. They are, from left, Elisabeth Marie Stevens, Dustin Harlin Cotten, Amanda Marie Heimbach, and Steven E. Welty.
