Wagman, Moving On, Thanked For Innovation

SAYING ‘SO LONG’ TO POTTSGROVE’S WAGMAN – Pottsgrove School District Technology and Communications Director Michael Wagman chats Tuesday (Nov. 15, 2016) with Ringing Rocks Elementary School Principal Lisa Jones (left) and superintendent’s secretary Laurie Bickert before the start of the Pottsgrove Board of School Directors’ meeting at Lower Pottsgrove Elementary School. During the meeting Superintendent Dr. William Shirk noted it would be Wagman’s last, as he begins a new job later this month as director of technology in the West Chester Area School District. He has worked at Pottsgrove since 2010. Shirk and board President Rick Rabinowitz both publicly thanked Wagman for his service and praised the innovations he advocated for Pottsgrove and its students. During his tenure, Wagman was responsible for launching the district’s Digital Learning Environment program, which put tablet or laptop computers into the hands and homes of every student in the high and middle schools.
