LIMERICK PA – A Monday (Dec. 19, 2016) traffic accident in the right lane of U.S. Route 422 West through Limerick Township resulted in an apparent injury to a Douglassville resident, according to Pennsylvania State Police stationed at the Skippack barracks.
A Reading Hospital spokesperson reported Jason A. Hughes, 34, of Douglassville, was taken to that facility for evaluation following the crash.

Troopers said a vehicle driven by Hughes was following a sports utility vehicle on 422 westbound Monday at about 11:30 a.m. The SUV stopped for traffic and was struck in the rear by the Hughes vehicle. The SUV then hit a pick-up truck it was following. An article in The Reading Eagle newspaper reported Hughes was ticketed for following too closely.
All involved were said to be wearing seat belts. No other drivers or passengers were reported injured.
