THANKED FOR THEIR DONATION AND VOLUNTEERISM – Leaders and volunteers of the Pottsgrove Soccer Club (at center) presented a $2,500 donation Thursday night (Feb. 23, 2017) to members of the Lower Pottsgrove Board of Commissioners during their second meeting of the month. It will help pay for a new zero-turn riding mower that will be used in part to maintain township soccer fields. Board Vice President Stephen Klotz (at left), a former member of the association himself, praised the “long-running relationship” between the organization and the township, and also thanked volunteers for their hard work and dedication to young athletes.
