LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – Building openings in the Pottsgrove School District will be delayed Wednesday (March 15, 2017) by two hours, the district announced in advance by e-mail Tuesday at 6:33 p.m. The delay is prompted by the aftermath of Winter Storm Stella, it added, as officials monitor road conditions and determine they are sufficiently safe to transport students.

The district said it may issue further updates if conditions change. Although most primary and many secondary roads were plowed and treated overnight Monday and during Tuesday, weather forecasters reported travel Wednesday on some roads may be affected by residual ice and 20-degree temperatures locally.
