LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – The left lane on westbound U.S. 422 between the Sanatoga and Armand Hammer interchanges in Lower Pottsgrove is scheduled to close next Thursday and Friday (March 30 and 31) from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily for continuing bridge construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.
Although the progress of work by contractor J.D. Eckman Inc. depends on the weather, PennDOT advised drivers o allow extra time when traveling through the work area. Eckman’s efforts are part of PennDOT’s $73.3 million project to rebuild 1.6 miles of U.S. 422 between the Sanatoga and Route 724 interchanges, and construct new bridges there.
Construction on the entire project is scheduled to finish in October 2018.
