LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – The “joint,” which took the form of Radel Auditorium in Pottsgrove High School on Kauffman Road, was jumpin’ Thursday (May 11, 2017) as members of the Pottsgrove High Jazz Band launched into a rollicking number titled “Count Bubba,” during its spring concert performance for proud parents, family members, and the public.
Interim Director Lorraine Selke, who has worked with the band for only a few months, guided it though four different selections, and also led the full concert band in five pieces. Additionally, a first-ever brass quintet performed two numbers.

It’s also available at The Post’s YouTube channel, here.
- The Post also recorded performances by the quintet and concert band. They are expected to be uploaded to YouTube as well.
