Pottsgrove Musicians Tackle Video Game Theme

LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – The drama, the scale and, yes, even the scare of a war in space are some of the features that attract players to the battle video game known as “Halo.” So, too, does its music, which is intended to heighten its realism.

Pottsgrove High School Interim Band Director Lorraine Selke talked about those qualities Thursday night (May 11, 2017) as she introduced the band’s spring concert audience to its rendition of the “Halo Theme.” The performance, held in the Kauffman Road school’s Radel Auditorium, included four other selections by the concert band, as well as four by its Jazz Band, and two by a new Brass Quintet.
