LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – The last week of June will bring more bridge construction work on U.S. Route 422 through Lower Pottsgrove, according to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation alert. Drivers should anticipate lane closures next Wednesday and Thursday (June 28-29, 2017) on both east-and westbound lanes of 422 across the township, it said.
- The right lane of eastbound 422 is scheduled to close Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. between its Route 724 and Sanatoga interchanges; and
- The left lane of westbound 422 is scheduled to close Thursday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. between its Sanatoga and Armand Hammer Boulevard interchanges.
Both are part of the continuing 422 rebuilding effort expected to be finished by October 2018. Drivers were advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. The progress of the work depends on the weather, PennDOT noted.
