A Little Like Driver Ed, With Bigger Wheels

DRIVER EDUCATION, BUT WITH BIGGER VEHICLES – If you’re a former student of a high school driver education course, you might relate to the training in which members of the Sanatoga Fire Company participated Saturday (July 15, 2017). An emergency vehicle driver training course offered in Royersford by the Bucks County Fire Academy taught volunteers how “to use their driving skills, and knowledge of vehicle size and turning radius, to negotiate tight turns and narrow streets, the company reported on its Facebook page. Those “narrow streets” were mapped out using a series of traffic cones in an obstacle course session that lasted about eight hours, and was preceded by earlier live instruction.
