Expect 422 Lane Closure For Bridge Construction

KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Westbound U.S. Route 422 drivers will encounter a left-lane closure next Tuesday and Wednesday (Sept. 12-13, 2017) from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day, between the Sanatoga and Armand Hammer Boulevard interchanges in Lower Pottsgrove, for construction to rebuild the highway’s bridges.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation advised drivers to allow extra time when traveling through the work area. The work schedule of general contractor J.D. Eckman Inc. of Atglen PA will depend on the weather.

  • Additionally, PennDOT in a separate release said it had scheduled concrete patching to occur Monday through Wednesday (Sept. 11-13) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily in the same area, between Armand Hammer and Sanatoga. That work is anticipated to create travel restrictions during the period. Drivers also should allow extra time when traveling near the work area; slowdowns will occur, the agency said. Its progress also depends on the weather.
