LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – It’s going to be a busy, and caution-filled, coming week for travelers on U.S. Route 422 in and near Lower Pottsgrove. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has already announced local lane closures for Monday through Wednesday, and road closings and detours for Tuesday and Wednesday. Now there’s one more item to add to the list.
PennDOT said Friday (Oct. 6, 2017) it expected lane closures Tuesday and Wednesday (Oct. 10-11), from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, on westbound 422 between Evergreen Road and Armand Hammer Boulevard to conduct resurfacing there.
As usual, drivers were advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area. Slowdowns will occur during construction, the agency said. All scheduled activities depend on the weather, it added.
