LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – Sales of Pottsgrove “Pink Out!” promotional items, like newly designed T-shirts, are already under way as the Pottsgrove Athletic Booster Club attempts to top last year’s fund-raising record $1,500 to benefit the Phoenixville Cancer Center.
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and again this year, during its Oct. 20 (2017) football game against Pope John Paul II High School, the Pottsgrove High Falcons team will use the opportunity to salute cancer survivors and raise money to help those facing the disease. Sales of the T-shirts and other goods all are funneled into the effort.
The T-Shirts, in all pink or black with pink, are available in sizes ranging from Youth Large to Adult 3X, and are selling for between $15 and $17 each depending on size. Colors and sizes are available on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the Booster Club. Purchased shirts will be available for delivery by Oct. 16.
Orders can be placed using a form for the purpose, available here, or online here. Payments can be made by credit card, or by check made payable to the Pottsgrove Booster Club and brought or mailed to the high school office on Kauffman Road. For more information, send an e-mail here.
