Township Police Search For New Job Applicant

SANATOGA PA – If you’re looking for a job, and you meet some specific qualifications, you might be interested in submitting your resume to the Lower Pottsgrove Police Department. It’s got an opening for a full-time administrative support staffer.

Preferred applicants should have general working knowledge of LiveScan, and electronic fingerprinting process; Digit 10, an inkless fingerprint processing system; and experience taking identification prints.

Beyond that, the department hopes to find someone with a college degree in related fields or related experience, but a minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent will do. Two to three years of prior secretarial experience would be helpful, as would a working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software; excellent organizational and time management skills; a good sense of judgment, and critical thinking skills in high-stress conditions.

As you might expect, successful applicants must be able to complete a thorough background investigation, and obtain clearances for child abuse history and criminal history. They also must possess valid Pennsylvania driver.s license before hiring.

Depending on experience, the starting salary for the job ranges from $35,500 to $40,000. It includes full benefits.
