Route 100 Milling Ahead In Upper Pottsgrove

UPPER POTTSGROVE PA – Lane restrictions go into effect Thursday (Nov. 9, 2017) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on northbound Route 100, between Farmington Avenue and Moyer Road in Upper Pottsgrove, for state highway resurfacing operations conducted by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation contractor, the agency said.

Milling work will be performed on that section by general contractor Allan A. Myers LP of Worcester, it added. The company is milling the existing roadway surface, and will repave it with new asphalt. The new pavement will seal the roadway and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface, PennDOT said.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work zone. Slowdowns may occur during construction. The contractor’s schedule depends on the weather.
