UPPER POTTSGROVE PA – Bi-annual bridge inspections will restrict vehicle movements on both north- and southbound lanes of Route 100 at Farmington Avenue in Upper Pottsgrove on Tuesday (Nov. 7, 2017), according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
The work is part of PennDOT’s program to inspect bridges at least once every two years to ensure their safety and overall condition. A right-lane closure is scheduled on northbound 100 at the Farmington Avenue interchange from 9 a.m. to Noon, and a right-lane closure is similarly scheduled on southbound 100 at the interchange from Noon to 3 p.m.
Because slowdowns will occur, the agency said, drivers are cautioned to allow extra time when traveling through the work area. The work depends on the weather.
