LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – Two arrived, two departed.
Membership of the Pottsgrove Board of School Directors changed somewhat Tuesday (Dec. 5, 2017) as two new members, Scott Hutt (at top) and Charles Nippert (above) took their oaths of office as administered by board temporary president Robert Lindgren; and two retiring members, Diane Cherico and Rick Rabinowitz (below), received gifts of thanks for their service from District Superintendent Dr. William Shirk.
Current board President Matt Alexander was re-elected to that role when Lindgren’s temporary duties ended. Lindgren was elected vice president, succeeding Al Leach; Ashley Custer was elected board secretary, succeeding Cherico; Patti Grimm was chosen to continue as a board representative to the Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center; and Hutt was elected to serve as a board representative to the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit.
As he did last year, Alexander delayed naming board committee chairs and members until he talked with directors to determine if any or all wanted changes in roles or assignments for 2018.
