Trash Collection Occurs Tuesdays For Two Weeks

LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – The people who haul trash away from homes in Lower Pottsgrove won’t be at work tomorrow (Dec. 25, 2017) or the following Monday (Jan. 1, 2018). Instead, they’ll enjoy the holidays just like many of us.

Because Christmas and New Year’s days are two of six holidays observed by Audubon-based trash hauler J.P. Mascaro and Sons, its offices and operations will be closed, its website reported. Consequently, it added, curbside garbage and recyclable items from municipalities it serves will be picked up the following day. For the township, that’s Tuesday (Dec. 26), and Tuesday (Jan. 2).

Mascaro’s other corporate observed holidays are Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Day, it said.
