Elementary Strings Players Praised For Concert

DON’T THINK THIS IS EASY – It took fortitude and bravery for almost 130 Lower Pottsgrove Elementary School students to sit patiently Wednesday (Jan. 31, 2018) night in front of a large audience at the Buchert Road building, and then play their best on musical instruments with which some have become familiar only within a year or two. The Pottsgrove Music League praised the Beginning Strings concert as an “awesome performance” that attracted “a full house” of proud parents, family members and other listeners. The strings represented the start of three days of music from Pottsgrove youngsters and others. A Beginning Band concert is scheduled tonight (Thursday, Feb. 1) at 7 p.m., also at the elementary school; and Pottsgrove’s BandFest is scheduled to be held Friday (Feb. 2), also at 7 p.m., at the middle school on North Hanover Street.
