Sanatoga Neighbors Celebrate Eagles’ Super Win

VILLAGE WAS POPPING WITH SOUND – Housing communities across the north side of Sanatoga village were popping with the sound of personal fireworks Sunday night (Feb. 4, 2018) as the Philadelphia Eagles football team captured its first Super Bowl victory, against the New England Patriots in a 41-33 game at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis MN. It proved to be a nail-biter to the end. The small explosions – whether they were bought in anticipation of the win, or left over from the Independence Day holiday is unknown – rang out across several neighborhoods as Eagles’ quarterback Nick Foles brought his infant daughter Lilly to the stadium stage and pointed to the cheering crowd.
