A Sure Sign Of Fall? Sanatoga’s Chicken Barbecue

BETTER THAN LEAVES TURNING COLOR – You can tell fall has arrived when the aroma of barbecued chicken makes its way in any direction from the Sanatoga fire house at 2222 E. High St. That change of season is the time to let someone else – like a firefighter – prepare dinner, the Sanatoga Fire Company suggests. Its annual grilled meals, consisting of a half-chicken, baked beans, a baked potato, and cole slaw, will be available for $10 each on Saturday (Sept. 8, 2018) from noon until they’re sold out. Dine-in at the firehouse, or take your dinner home. All proceeds benefit the work of the company.
