With Video. The elementary school’s annual Reading Across America Day activities, which honor “The Lorax” author Dr. Seuss, were just the start of a very big weekend tribute to the late storyteller. A just-released animated movie based on The Lorax was a box-office smash.

The Pottsgrove school board decision Tuesday to reconfigure the district’s K-5 elementary schools into three grade-level education centers attracted the attention of a Philadelphia television station. Its crew spent the day and evening in the district, offering both live and filmed reports.
