‘Grove Opposes County’s Grab For Delinquent Tax Fee

Pottsgrove’s school board voted unanimously last week to support bills in the Pennsylvania House and Senate to block counties from earning a fee on delinquent taxes, even if the county didn’t do the collecting. Without relief, the school district may owe Montgomery County $350,000 in back fees.

Scary, Shots-Filled Drama Unfolds On Pottstown’s Streets

A tense, day-long gun drama Thursday between law enforcers and a lone gunman at a Logan Steet, Pottstown, apartment ended in the evening darkness with the wounded suspect in custody and hospitalized. None of the officers and first responders, and no other members of the public, were injured.
