Lower Pottsgrove has begun a proactive community policing project in which officers on routine patrol stop and leave a tag or card at a property to let its owners know what they’ve seen that could jeopardize their security.

Pottsgrove Students Will Pay More For Cafeteria Meals

The price of cafeteria lunches in the elementary schools will increase 10 cents daily, and 15 cents daily in the secondary schools. That’s because students are being required to take a fruit or vegetable. But will they eat it or waste it?

Big Buys, Big Savings, Or So Pottsgrove Schools Hope

The Pottsgrove School District last week got the green light to work with a Montgomery County consortium that will buy natural gas in bulk on the commodities markets. It anticipates significant savings on energy costs.

Every Bit Helps: Items’ Sale Brings Township Revenue

Lower Pottsgrove got rid of three pieces of equipment last Monday that had outlived their usefulness. They sold them at auction, and promised the proceeds would be put to better use.
