Experts for the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce looked at statistics Thursday and said things seemed to be picking up. Then, on Friday, job numbers rose and unemployment fell. Not everything’s rosy though. A Pennsylvania casino is burdened by debt, and defense cuts may hurt the state too.

Veteran campaigner Bruce Foltz was the top vote-getter Tuesday among four candidates for Lower Pottsgrove Board of Commissioners’ electoral vacancies. Stephen Klotz and Jonathan Spadt won two remaining board seats.

The Sanatoga-based provider of propane fuel is one of many subsidiary companies being sold by a Dallas TX partnership to Amerigas in Valley Forge PA, the nation’s largest propane distributor.

Things work well when we all work together. That was particularly true last month, when the 78th Army Band visited Sanatoga for its first concert appearance here. The debut was such a success, the band has asked about returning in 2012.
