Lower Pottsgrove won’t receive or directly benefit from $1 million Costco has paid to its municipal neighbor, Limerick, in donated impact fees. The last payment to Limerick is being made this month. Commissioners say the township wins in related ways, however.

Exactly when Costco will open its warehouse store in Limerick, at the Gateway of Sanatoga project, has not yet been announced. The company’s latest press release gives a clue, though, and so does the fact that it’s hiring to fill job vacancies.
