Township Responders To Train For LGS November Drill

Exelon Nuclear, and state and federal agencies, will conduct an emergency drill during November at the Limerick Generating Station. Lower Pottsgrove officials are already planning to train for the event.

Power Uprating, Like That In Limerick, On The Rise

A nuclear power uprate approved last week for Exelon in Limerick was relatively small. Far bigger uprates elsewhere, however, are generating concern about generator safety, according to The Los Angeles Times.

Exelon Wins Approval For Limerick Power Increase

Exelon Corp. will increase the amount of electricity generated at its Limerick Generating Station, thanks to a ruling by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued Monday.

Trout Rodeo Launches Six Weeks of Township Fun

Following Outage, Limerick Unit 2 Back In Operation

The nuclear reactor, which was shut-down last Friday due to a support system problem, was put back into operation after more than 80 hours of repairs and tests.
