Conflict Waiver Keeps Township Out Of An Ethical Jam

A potential conflict of interest involving two attorneys from the same firm in Trappe, one which assists Lower Pottsgrove in zoning matters and another set to oppose the township in a personnel case, has been waived by the Board of Commissioners.

Township Pays Two Attorneys In Police Discipline Case

Lower Pottsgrove already has hired an attorney to represent the township in a police disciplinary matter. Commissioners on Thursday also hired special counsel to advise its Civil Service Commission on a hearing it must conduct on the same issue.
