Hundreds of cars were caught late Thursday afternoon in what, at one point, was a 13-mile backup on U.S. Route 422 caused by an accident in the westbound lanes near Sanatoga. A Sanatoga firefighter’s photos shows what created all the commotion.

Toll Road, Rail Line Deal Announced … NOT For 422

Talk about ironic: a Pennsylvania contractor claimed Tuesday it had a deal to build a toll road and rail line at a cost of $7 billion. It was NOT referring to U.S. Route 422, however, where a similar-sounding proposal is still making headlines. Instead, this project would be in Alabama.
