Herbicides Applied To Manage NorCo Vegetation

POTTSTOWN PA – Asplundh, the national tree and vegetation management company headquartered in Willow Grove PA, is applying herbicides to its utility clients’ right of ways through April 30 (2011; Saturday) in several Chester County municipalities, including North Coventry (PA) Township.

Utility companies need to keep trees, shrubs, weeds, vines and other growing things away from their towers, lines and pipes. Asplundh does that work almost everywhere, for a fee.

The company began its local herbicide applications April 4 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily in North, East, and South Coventry, Highland, and East Fallowfield, it announced in a March 25 legal notice published in The Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Daily News newspapers.

Asplundh also said it is conducting similar work in the Montgomery County townships of Limerick, Skippack, Worcester and Upper Providence .
