PAID Inc. Re-introduced As Pottstown Business Leader
POTTSTOWN PA – Having officially re-introduced itself and presented new board members Thursday (April 28, 2011), Pottstown Area Industrial Development (PAID) Inc. announced it was conducting a nationwide search for its first executive director, who will become Pottstown’s “central point of contact” for economic development, the Roy’s Rants blog reported.
PAID is a decades-old organization that has been reincarnated to jump-start the return of businesses to the borough. It’s official meeting Thursday night at The Hill School library served to showcase the community talent of its 13-member board, and to re-emphasize Pottstown’s desire to follow recommendations made in 2008 and 2009 studies for energizing Pottstown’s business growth.
