Trimbell Elected To Walking, Biking Advocacy Board
KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Shayne Trimbell, manager of projects and development at the Greater Valley Forge Transportation Management Association, recently was elected to the board of Pennsylvania Walks and Bikes, an advocacy group for pedestrians and cyclists across the state.
Formed during 2009, PA Walks and Bikes says it hopes to ensure walking and biking enthusiasts have a voice in state government and beyond.“I am honored to be selected to serve on the board of directors for PA Walks and Bikes. We have a lot of work to do making the roads of Pennsylvania safe for pedestrians and bicyclists and I look forward to challenge ahead,” Trimbell said.
An avid biker, Trimbell also is a member of both the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Forum and the Regional Safety Taskforce at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Committee.
The association’s stated mission is “to achieve a desirable quality of life and a healthy, competitive economic environment by developing multi-faceted transportation strategies.” It is located at 1012 W. Eighth Ave., King of Prussia PA.
