Free Borrower-Lender Matchmaking Coming Sept. 21
KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Small business owners looking to grow, and those who would like to start a new enterprise, can participate in a “Meet the Lenders” event set Sept. 21 (2011; Wednesday) from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Radisson Valley Forge Hotel, Independence Ballroom, 1160 First Avenue, King of Prussia, according to Sen. Bob Mensch, co-chairman of the Senate Economy, Business and Jobs Caucus.
- This event has been added to The Post calendar.
This “Borrower-Lender Matchmaking Event” is a free, one-stop business financing marketplace co-sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and SCORE Montgomery County. It features a series of 15-minute “pitch periods”during which each entrepreneur presents their financing needs to a lender one-on-one, before moving to another lender to present again.
Lenders will schedule detailed interviews for a later date with entrepreneurs who may be a match with their lending portfolio. Representatives from the SBA’s Resource Partner network (SCORE, Small Business Development Centers and Women’s Business Centers) will be available to help participants with business plans, projected financials, and other items.
