Susquehanna Offers Low-Rate Flood Damage Loans

LITITZ PA — Low-cost loans are being offered to residents affected by recent area storms and heavy rainfall so they can finance clean-up and repair of their flood-damaged homes, Lititz-headquartered Susquehanna Bank announced.

The bank – which operates branch offices in Limerick, Collegeville, Phoenixville, Pottstown and Boyertown PA – is offering unsecured term loans of up to $10,000 at a rate of 5 percent, with repayment due within 5 years. The bank’s standard underwriting criteria applies.

Applicants must provide a contractor’s estimate for clean-up or repair work for damage to their primary residence that resulted from Hurricane Irene or Tropical Storm Lee. These flood damage recovery loans are available in Susquehanna Bank’s market area in central and eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, Maryland, and Berkeley County, West Virginia.
