Max & Erma’s, In Oaks, Adds To Its Burger Menu

OAKS PA – “Max & Erma’s,” a national dining franchise that operates a restaurant at 180B Mill Rd., Oaks PA, said Friday (Nov. 18, 2011) it added four new gourmet burgers to its menu:

  • Aunt Patty, classic patty melt featuring Swiss and cheddar cheeses, caramelized onions and Thousand Island dressing served on marble rye;
  • Texas Ranger, with chili, shredded Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, queso, jalapeños and fried pickles;
  • Athena, featuring Balsamic onions, sautéed mushrooms and feta olive spread; and
  • El Diablo, for those who like it hot, with spicy mayo and blue cheese complemented by celery slaw.

The new burgers are paired with seasoned fries and offered in six- and ten-ounce sizes. Prices start at about $9. All burgers are hand-crushed, grilled to order, served on an artisan brioche bun, and feature fresh toppings.
