Man Injured In One-Vehicle Pottstown Accident
ONE INJURED THURSDAY IN VAN ACCIDENT – Montgomery County (PA) dispatchers say a man who was the sole occupant of a minivan traveling Thursday (Jan. 12, 2011) shortly after 6 p.m. on East High Street near Armand Hammer Boulevard in Pottstown was injured when his vehicle was flipped on its side (above) for reasons that were undetermined at the time. The van was the only vehicle involved, dispatchers said, and the extent of the driver’s injuries were not reported by dispatchers. A Goodwill Fire Company ambulance and Pottstown fire fighters and fire police (below) responded to the scene. Traffic was blocked for a time while first responders rescued the driver.
