Squeeze In That Last-Minute Course At MCCC

The college’s Pottstown campus

POTTSTOWN PA – There’s still time to enroll in credit courses at Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) this fall. The two-year college, with campuses in downtown Pottstown and Blue Bell, is offering “a diverse selection” of live and online 6-, 7- and 10-week courses that start during October, Communications Director Alana Mauger said Tuesday (Sept. 18, 2012).

Late-start courses allow current students to pick up additional credits. Because they are offered in an accelerated format, late-start courses are also popular with working adult students and those who need to fulfill developmental education requirements.

The course assortment includes composition, foreign languages, business, marketing, speech, psychology, literature, sociology and computer science. Several one-credit computer courses, such as Intro to Personal Computers, Intro to Web Page Design, and Web Animation are offered on weekends.

For more information about college admissions and registration, prospective students can call 610-718-1800 or visit MCCC’s admissions web pages, here.
