THE ATTRACTION? WHY, ‘YAPPY HOUR,’ OF COURSE – If “Happy Hour” is the early-evening stress reliever for humans then, the organizers of the Mostly Muttz Rescue group figure, “Yappy Hour” can similarly apply to dogs and other human pets. The special relaxation time for furry friends, and an open mic night for kids, both were on the schedule Saturday (Sept. 27, 2014) from 4-7 p.m. at Proximity Cafe, 1450 E. High St., Pottstown. Mostly Muttz is an all-volunteer animal rescue team that focuses on finding adoptive owners for mixed-breed dogs and other animals. Guests at Proximity had a chance to get up close and personal with some of the recently rescued (above), and to enjoy a variety of coffees, specialty drinks and foods on the cafe menu (below).
