POTTSTOWN PA – To almost any student, there may be nothing in the world more satisfying than to tell your teacher “go soak your head!” … and then actually watch your wish come true.
That was one of the many attractions Thursday (Oct. 2, 2014) at the Pottstown School District’s Lincoln Elementary School, 461 N. York St., as teachers and children alike laughed and played their way through its Carnival Day. A dunk tank (above) was featured among the fun; if you aimed a ball just right, the human object of your desire sitting in its chair might go spluttering into a few hundred gallons of water.
What’s not to like?
Also on the grounds were a huge inflatable slide on which kids and former kids when speeding down toward earth, games like Spill The Milk and musical chairs, free popcorn, face painting, and lots of happy memories.
